Fun with the kids at the Alhambra Palace

Raring to go – activity sheets and maps in hand

We recently took our little girls to the Alhambra for a run about and a chance to try out some of our activity sheets. Here they are, maps in hand, raring to go just outside the main entrance.

Start here!

We started in the Generalife (as we had 90 minutes before our entry time for the Nazrid Palaces) and from there went to the Palacio de Carlos V, The Nazrid Palaces, and finally the Alcazaba.

It took us about three hours to get round, with plenty of stops for snacks, and the girls were amazing.

The highlights were running around the Palacio de Carlos V, counting the pillars, and playing princesses in the Nazrid Palaces and Partal Garden.

We finally made it up to the top of the Torre de la Vela. It felt like a great achievement and we all took the opportunity to enjoy the views and do a bit of colouring. You can find a free downloadable Flag Colouring page here.
